Grana Game Studios, LLC is a small independent studio building handmade worlds, stubborn little creatures, and games with a pulse. We ship strange, sincere things — and we do it on purpose.
A one-person kitchen where the recipes get weird on purpose.
Grana Game Studios began at a kitchen table with a broken laptop and a stubborn idea: that a game could feel like a place you actually remember visiting. Since then it has grown into a studio built around craft over churn — every sprite drawn by hand, every track written to fit the room it plays in.
I’m the designer, programmer, artist, and occasional composer behind the studio. My background is in traditional illustration and systems design, and I care most about the moment a player stops optimizing and just wanders. That’s the whole job, as far as I’m concerned.
When I’m not shipping, I’m usually teaching a small workshop on pixel animation, replaying something from 1998, or making a mess with a new mechanic that probably won’t work. Some of them do.
